Cancel online
Orangetheory's Membership Cancellation page has a request form. It asks for your name, phone, the email on your account and your home studio ("where your monthly membership is charged from"). After a retention screen, choose "No, I'd still like to cancel my membership". The request goes to your studio.
The 30-day policy
Orangetheory says: "Orangetheory Fitness offers a 30-day cancellation policy, unless otherwise stated in your Membership Agreement. Any membership payment set to occur within 30 days after receipt of your cancellation request will occur as scheduled."
Unused class credits can be used for 30 days after your last payment; after that they are forfeited.
Before you cancel
- A frozen account must be reactivated before it can be cancelled.
- With a term membership, payments left in the initial term are still charged as scheduled.
- Studios are individually owned: send any letter to your home studio, not to Orangetheory's head office.
A free letter you can use
We wrote a plain, polite Orangetheory Fitness cancellation letter template. Copy it, fill in your details, and send it yourself by Certified Mail with a return receipt. Or sign it on your phone and let us print and mail it for you, with tracking and a proof pack.
