Contact your current home gym

Snap Fitness says: "Contact your home gym directly (call, email, or visit in-person) and request to cancel." Use the phone number or email on your gym's page and keep the confirmation in writing.

Watch out: Snap says your membership is automatically transferred to the gym you attend most often. Make sure you contact the gym that is your home gym now.

Click to Cancel (some states)

In some states a "Click to Cancel" option appears on the gym's website. Snap says the gym processes it like any other cancellation.

30 days' notice

Snap says: "Most memberships require 30 days' notice. You are responsible for dues only for the 30 days following your notice, which may require a prorated final payment." So one more payment is normal.

Gyms are open 24/7 but staffed only part of the day, so calls, emails and visits are handled during staffed hours. A letter by Certified Mail gives you a dated record if you want one.

A free letter you can use

We wrote a plain, polite Snap Fitness cancellation letter template. Copy it, fill in your details, and send it yourself by Certified Mail with a return receipt. Or sign it on your phone and let us print and mail it for you, with tracking and a proof pack.
